General Direction

Me Isabelle Allard was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 1993. She then went on to successively work as a lawyer, Office Director and Assistant General Director at the Montreal Community Legal Centre. In August 2016, she was nominated Assistant General Director of the CCJRS and appointed General Director in October 2018. Me Allard has always been involved within the legal community, as reflected by the Montreal Bar’s Merit Award that she was bestowed in 2014. Me Allard has also lectured seminars within the Legal Aid network.

Me Marie-Pierre Blouin was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2004. After working in several offices within the Legal Aid network, she joined the CCJRS in 2005. Throughout her career, Me Blouin excelled as a lawyer in youth law and appeared in an influential case before the Supreme Court of Canada in 2009. She was appointed Office Director in January 2017 and subsequently, Assistant General Director in October 2018. Me Blouin is a dedicated lawyer who has the interests of her legal aid clients at heart. More recently, she obtained a Master of Laws degree from the University of Toronto and has continued to actively contribute to the professional development of her fellow colleagues, delivering numerous lectures and seminars within the Legal Aid network and section Bars.

Mr. Éric Lacasse is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec since 1998. A graduate of the University of Sherbrooke, Mr. Lacasse has held various roles throughout his career, including that of auditor for a large accounting firm and that of controller for a publicly traded company in the telecommunications industry. For more than 11 years, Mr. Lacasse has been employed by the South Shore Community Legal Centre and is responsible for the financial and administrative operations of the center. Mr. Lacasse is also responsible for the implementation of the IT development plan throughout our organization, the management of the Centers’ 10 office leases and the administration of the CCJRS website. He is an important contributor to various projects within the organization.
